The Land Registry recorded 7,239 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in November, up 15.8% from October but 0.03% lower year-on-year. The total consideration for such agreements rose 2.7% from October to $63 billion in November, but a 4.5% year-on-year decrease was recorded. Of the agreements, 5,409 were for residential units, up 16.5% from October but 10.9% lower than a year ago. The total consideration of residential units was $51.3 billion, an increase of 3.2% compared with October but down 11.7% from November 2020. There were 470,442 land register searches last month.
