The Land Registry recorded 4,443 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in October, down 8.1% compared with September and 28.9% lower year-on-year. The total consideration for such agreements fell 5.8% September to $32.8 billion in October while a 46.6% year-on-year decrease was recorded. Of the agreements, 3,148 were for residential units, down 18.8% September and 32.2% lower than a year ago. The total consideration of residential units was $27.2 billion, a decrease of 6.6% compared with September and down 45.3% October last year. There were 423,712 land register searches last month.
