The Housing Authority today announced that a total of 8,926 new Home Ownership Scheme flats will be put up for sale under the Sale of Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2022 (HOS 2022).

 

They cover seven new developments in Yu Nga Court in Tung Chung, Yu Tak Court in Sha Tin, Kei Wah Court in North Point, Kwun Shan Court in Ma Tau Kok, On Sau Court in Kwun Tong, Chiu Ming Court in Tseung Kwan O, and Kai Yan Court in Kai Tak.

 

The average selling prices of the new flats for sale are provisionally set at a 49% discount from the assessed market values51% of assessed market values.

 

The provisional selling prices of the flats at the seven new developments range from $1.24 million to $5.31 million, averaging at about $2.58 million.

  

The authority also announced the arrangements for the White Form Secondary Market Scheme 2022 (WSM 2022). The quota for the scheme will be maintained at 4,500 and the allocation ratio for family and one-person applicants at 9:1.

 

It is expected that applications for both schemes will be invited in the first quarter, with balloting in the second quarter. Flat selection for HOS 2022 and the issuance of Approval Letters to eligible applicants under WSM 2022 are expected to start from the fourth quarter.

 

Additionally, a total of 4,693 flats will be offered for sale under the Sale of Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2022 (GSH 2022), from Ching Tao Court in Fanling, Ko Wang Court in Yau Tong, and Kam Pak Court in Ma On Shan.

 

The average selling prices of these flats are provisionally set at a 59% discount from the assessed market values.

 

The provisional selling prices range from about $0.79 million to $2.86 million.

 

The authority expects to invite applications for GSH 2022 in the third quarter to the fourth quarter, with balloting in the fourth quarter and flat selection starting in late 2022early 2023.
